Me, Santanu Karmakar , owner of Santanu Karmakar Photography, believe in this quote. It is this belief that made me become a true photographer. I try to create memories for you by staying connected with the moments which matter to you the most.
Photography came to me at a time when I needed it most. It was like walking right into what i was created to do. So after completing B.Tech from Jadavpur University, I bought my first NIKON and took only landscape in the beginning. Then I started to put more interest on learning how to do fashion photography which became one of my main focus now.
"The Wedding Tales" was started since early 2015. I started shooting wedding for the love of capturing different rituals of different states, meeting new people and obviously for traveling!
I have photographed different pre-wedding stories, proposal moments, families, engagement tales, baby portfolios, rice ceremonies and maternity shoot too. So, I am respectful to the fact that people trust me and welcome my team into their families and homes across the state.
